GROUND FLOOR
The salon is perhaps the most important room in La Dolce Villa, covering 65 square metres, with the double height ceiling creating a cathedral like ambience.
A pair of liberty style chandeliers hang low over the sitting area and formal dining table, a unique S-shaped antique, designed to seat up to twelve in comfort. Walls are a subtle shade of ochre. Three huge south-facing windows open to views of pines and cypress to the valley below, and flood the room with light.
An antique grand piano sits in one corner of the room, surrounded by the spacious lounge area. Antique and collectable
pieces are scattered throughout the room, as are signature gilt frames, mirrors and various works of art. An elegant
French bakers rack houses a collection of books and a CD player along with a selection of CDs including classical,
jazz, and blues.
